We had such a brilliant time being part of the Family Fun Day at King George V Fields. It was a day filled with energy, laughter and music, and we were proud to bring along a wide range of instruments for people of all ages to try out.

So many children and families stopped by our stand to have a go at guitars, ukuleles and more. For some it was their very first time holding an instrument and seeing their faces light up was priceless. Moments like these can spark a lifelong interest in music, giving young people the chance to discover hidden talents and new ways of expressing themselves.

For us it is not just about the instruments, it is about what happens when people connect through them. We saw neighbours talking, parents sharing memories of when they used to play, and children encouraging each other to have a go. These small moments create stronger bonds in the community and remind us how powerful music can be in bringing people together.

Events like this also help spread the word about what we do at Good Vibrations Watford. We repair and upcycle instruments, run free workshops, and make music accessible to everyone. By being at the Family Fun Day we were able to meet new families, show what is possible, and invite more people to join in with future sessions.

The day was a real reminder that community is strongest when we share our skills, our time, and a little creativity. We are so thankful to everyone who came along, picked up an instrument, or even just stopped for a chat. Together we are building something that will keep on growing, one note at a time.
